LEISURE ACTIVITIES
This page is dedicated to the things I spend my time doing that don't fit neatly into the other categories on my web page - some are hobbies, others are interests, and the rest are just fun things I've had the opportunity to participate in.  The links aren't arranged in any particular order and I'll probably be adding things periodically, so check back every so often to see what's new. Much of my time is spent taking care of a bunch of animals that call my place home.  This page includes photos of some of them and notes about their care and feeding. If you've ever known someone from Nebraska, you know it's very difficult NOT to become a Husker football fan.  Having grown up in Nebraska, I still follow it religiously.
Now that we have a yard, I've taken up gardening, mostly in the "cottage garden" style (a little bit of everything). We focus on ornamental plants, but also do vegetables and herbs. Working out is a great way to break up the day (and to stay healthy!) so I try to do so consistently. I'm lucky to have a nice gym nearby on campus where I can do my CrossFit workouts. Lisa and I have always enjoyed antiquing - both nearby and in various spots throughout the midwest.  This page has photos of a few of our more interesting pieces.
