Friends and Family
|
Friends and family are an important part of my
life, and many of the things
I do during my leisure time
involve people from one or the other of these
groups (not that I'm saying they are mutually exclusive). If
you've looked at some of the other photos on my site, you've no doubt
seen some of the faces of the people listed below. This page
is
intended to put names with those faces and to give you a little better
idea of
what these people are all about. This certainly is not an exhaustive list, so don't get upset if you think you should be on here and aren't; it's primarily limited by the photos I have, and besides that, there are no real criteria I've used to decide whom to include. If you think your name is missing from this page, send me an e-mail. Please also keep in mind that I haven't necessarily cleared these photos or the associated information with the people to whom they pertain, so I take full responsibility for any inaccuracies or misleading statements that may be present. |

is staff in the Department
of
Pathology at the Cleveland
Clinic Foundation (CCF). She specializes in liver
pathology
and is part of the Gastrointestinal

When not
working, she spends her time
doing lots
of the same things
I like to do (antiquing, gardening, hiking) and a few things I'm
not quite as keen about (cooking, shopping). |

Clancy
Croft Father |
My
father (deceased) was a an
audio-visual producer/director for US West in Omaha, Nebraska. After retiring, he volunteered his time to
make audio tapes of books for the visually impaired through the Listening Link
program of Radio Talking
Book and worked to
catch up on all the projects he wasn't able to get to when he was
working full time. He was a Studebaker
enthusiast, and also spent a lot of time helping my Mom with her gardening and other
yardwork. |
|
Barbara
Croft Mother |
My
Mom is a retired
special projects coordinator for MacMillan Jr. High School in Omaha,
Nebraska.
She now lives in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, near my two brothers (see
below). When the weather is nice, she can usually
be found
outside working on her flower garden or her potted plants.
When
it's not so nice, she does a lot of reading. She
volunteers her time helping people study for the GED exam and working
with college students for whom English is a second language, and has
recently gotten involved with P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization.) |

If
you're into paintball,

interest in paleontology, and we've gone out west for fieldwork in
Wyoming and Montana together for many years. Tom is also
interested
in astrophysics and has a web
site
describing his efforts (and those of other amateur astronomers) to
detect
planets orbiting distant stars. |
